Absurd BBC pay fuss 14 Years, 11 Months ago  
How much does - or did - Jonathan Ross get? Who cares?
I only care if the BBC is any good. Some is; some isn't.
The politics of envy are ruining this country, along with the "victim" philosophy ("it's not my fault; it's someone else's").
We need a major rethink, starting with the media (it's a good story).

Mark Thompson, Director General BBC, going on about pay on Andrew Marr's show Sunday morning; for God's sake let's start regulating the media. The time has finally come. Freedom of speech can be lethal without responsibility.
