I can't Dale Winsome on Pick Of The Pops - there are umpteen dj's I'd prefer doing that "Holy Grail" show - but when covering for Wright I found him suprisingly listenable and music-orientated.
Steve Wright has dined out on the reputation he built up in the 80's for years now, and yet is a yuppified shadow of his former broadcasting self. His show is just a barrel of nauseating back-slapping cliches.
