I feared I was the only person in the country who, apart from a few clips on the news, had never heard Susan Boyle nor wished to know anything about her. Bargain.

Her new album though is still outselling in pre release any other in history. So she still have millions of fans.

HMV are on a stock clear-out and with her new album coming £3 is sensible. I expect most artists are in that offer if they took on big numbers of albums and now urgently need cash.

I have a feeling HMV are "Cash Short" I dont believe that this reflects on Susan Boyle at all - otherwise it would be shown by no demand for her future releases.

Susan Boyle is preferable to 95% of the rubbish in the charts. At least she does not run around in her knickers shagging Premier League footballers which seems to be the only way an artist in the UK gets any success since Posh Spice invented the genre back in the day.

Went in HMV Oxford today and to be fair, they are selling Opera DVDs that are retailing online for £20 + for £3. I think £3 is the favoured amount for unwanted stock there. Presumably everyone who wanted Susan's album has it already, £3 attracts offside 'fans'. Incidently Britney Spears 'Circus' is £2.31 P&P free on Amazon!!!
