where they looked at many huge past hits including several that I covered in English; Gerard Lenorman (my age) looking terrific did The Happy People Song (Disc 8 on my box set); Michel Delpech - looking awful; lost all his hair, aged, put on weight (who I translated with Flirt and When I Was A Star); Johnny Hallyday - exactly as ever and the biggest surprise was Patrick Bruel who looks about 30 (he's 51) still and sounded superb.
I love the French media - they are so unageist it's incredible; if you're good they play you on radio and put you on TV whatever your age.
