This is not a very pleasant development for the music industry.
What next 5 year olds ......
We are now into "Pre Teen" rappers in the R&B area with this - and I am sure I am not the only person in the music industry who finds this quite distasteful.
Child recording stars inevitably self destruct - look at Michael Jackson and Lena Zavaroni for just two ( and we can all name loads more )
Surely there should be some responsibility from the industry and the girls parents.
She already dresses like an R&B "hooker" at the age of 9 and now she is being give the opportunity to "perform".....
If anyone wanted a more blatant example of the way in which kids are being sexualised by the media this is it.
RAP music is about sex and violence. How can a 9 year old girl add anything meaninful in that genre.
The USA is a sick society - and if a UK company picks this up it will show that we are no better.
