The X Factor impact slackens as punters begin realising the music is not good so why spend hard earned cash buying it? Enjoy the soap opera but reject the sounds.

Joe who ?

It really is over and Simon needs a new format and a new idea or he will go the way of Mr Blobby and Postman Pat in terms of Chart action.

Sorry JK but number 6 means there are 94 other tracks in the top 100 below it.
Not a bad effort in my opinion. Only one person can be number one you know

In my day J&B, a top thirty track was a decent hit - I had several myself that never made the 20 but sold 200,000 in the UK. But times have changed. For an X Factor winner not to get a No1 but to scrape in at 6 (with a crap cover of a Scandinavian track) is weak indeed.

But this is exactly what the programme makers want !

They don;t want "last year's model" around to spoil the new winner, do they ?

Instant disposable pop (or should that be pap ?)
