Originally released on "Street Legal", not regarded as one of Dylan's greatest album, this song is approaching the status of "Hallelujah" as a previously unregarded classic by a major songwriter.
This isn't the best cover version by any means. check out this review which is fairly typical of the album release at the time.

I'm biased on this as I produced it but I love the purity of Eiri's voice - rumour has it Chris Evans is picking it as his disc to champion for the Christmas chart topper to beat the X Factor winner; plus I can't quite see One Direction getting away with it! Adele - eat your heart out.
