Over lunch getting all the gossip about Warners and the industry as a whole though, as he says, I tend to know even more than he does.

There is a lot going on.

So what are Thomas H. Lee selling? Only Warner/Chappell or the complete WMG? And is KKR (BMG Rights Management GmbH) already out of the race?

I wouldn't have thought Jeremy would be that involved in that area of WMG. He's more into getting hits and shifting units/songs. By the way, where was lunch? I had lunch with Jeremy at the Chinese restaurant at the top of the Royal Garden hotel last month. The view, food and company were all spectacular!

We were in my local (Cafe Anglais) and he very kindly paid. What with Annie Robinson insisting on paying the other night, I'm starting to feel like a kept man. Tonight it's Johnny Beerling and I shall pay for every mouthful!

I never met Jonny Beerling, but a read his autobiography a couple of years ago. It was a very interesting and enjoyable read. (Don't forget to set your Freeview+ box to record Silk tonight!)
