Well don't say I didn't tell you: they should have given my protege John Shutleworth a chance....

They can't, I agree JK, but it's not such a bad old attempt in fairness. If they can do a decent live performance, it could make the top ten. I'm not up to date with this year's contest yet, but I'm reliably informed that the opposition is not very strong, most countries having made eccentric decisions in their national selections, so one never knows.

Yes Anthony; Lee Ryan has been doing Masterclasses in the Mariah Pariah Oversinging Technique and Drunken Duncan has been Thespianising. I always thought the only real talent was Simon who seems to take little part. But a nothing song. May I point Members at Norway which I think will win the day? I have £100 at 7-1.

the UK entry is so bland and doesn't stand out.

My money from what i've heard so far is on Israel with Dana International again. As 'dance' numbers go it is much mor catchy than ours

I love the way her backing singers have dressed for abigail's party )

Well I probably don't know what I'm talking about but neither Dana nor Sweden (there's a far better song called Popular - it stops the show in Wicked) stand a chance.

Both entries, like Blue, sound like they were specifically written for Eurovision (always a mistake) whereas Norway just sounds like a hit and Jedward's is simply two kids having fun with rubbish.

Just seen them on Graham Norton. Thought the song came across pretty well but the guy with the squeeky voice is terrible, he has little or no control over that forced horrible sound.

i'm still not convinced that norway will win but you were right about germany last year, sweden as you say is contrived for the contest but you could say that about most songs including norway and some of the past winners
i'm not convinced by anyone as yet so i think we might be in for a bit of a surprise this year,
i agree blue can't, the people who chose the uk entry either knowingly pick none starters or have no idea of what it takes to win the contest, yes i know jade ewen did do well, 5th, but she was never going win
