I agree with every word Simon says in that article, in the business of selling music it is a job well done.
BTW, I hate the singing and the production but admire the marketing campaign. You will note Simon doesn't comment on the song just the hype surrounding it.
What intrigues me is why the tabloids - who log on and read these threads every day - hasn't picked up on this story; with the other threads and this one - 3000 views so they know it's around.
They don't pick it up JK, because as you well know, Reality and the Truth don't sell tabloids? Scandal, non- truth, and "Alleged" do.
Pulling the wool over the public's eyes has always been present in the music business, but I never thought it would get to the level of non-reality that it is now.
Yet Adele's stunning new record is going strong on the strength of voice and songs, so that gives me hope.
