And my letter to Simon Kelner, the Editor of the Moon - oops - Independent...

Dear Simon; I see, yet again, Rob Sharp is describing me as "disgraced".
Not in my eyes - not in the eyes of my friends - not in the eyes of the lawyers pursuing my appeal for wrongful conviction.
Of course, in Mail world (which the paper now inhabits), someone convicted is forever damned unless he or she can prove his or her innocence. Indeed, poor Ken Clarke gets monstered by the media for daring to suggest there are degrees of rape - let alone very rare miscarriages of justice.
I do understand the desire to avoid mentioning my name and offending so many gullible readers. Even though - were I Editor (God forbid - of a paper once considering JSP worthy of such a role) - I would consider inclusion to be based on merit, few these days have the brain or balls to dare do so.
But I am not "disgraced". I'm doing fine, thank you - to the chagrin of many.
