I enjoyed the first part too, very interesting.

Freddie Mercury - one of the great, real stars of my generation.
Every time I hear Somebody To Love I freak out - the quality of the vocal harmonies, balance and sound is quite magnificent.
And those last tracks recorded when he was dying... Days of Our Lives; The Show Must Go On... staggering.

The previously unseen video of those final recording sessions in last nights episode showed just how ill he was. The close up shots of his face were particularily revealing, he must have been in considerable pain.

Staggering in so many ways

Indeed (and sorry for plugging the wrong channel earlier !)

In fact the way Mercury dedicated himself, in his final days, to completing as much work as possible is a great tribute to his work ethic.

Not sure about work ethic, for me it seems he needed to continue to create.
