Simon Cowell has chosen New Bounce over Ronan Parke because they already have stage training and they fit easily into the desired box without much work being needed. I'm not sure that I'm that cynical. New Bounce were off key and flat but they are ripe for manipulation.

I enjoyed Enchantment because they were different - like a bizarre, off beat, circus packed into 3mins.

A rather frightening example of how the media now controls the world; and not for the obvious reasons. This kind of grooming and manipulation has gone on for years (Steve Greenberg and I agreed never to work with that age group after watching Hanson break); yes, it is a form of child abuse. But the truly disturbing thing is how stories like this (which may be accurate but is, I suspect, like all media, "enhanced") now reach more people than they ever did when the News of the World ruled the world.

Pumpkinhead, no one is saying Ronan doesn't have talent, and that article certainly isn't saying that.

In fact, much of what it's saying is what you yourself hinted at- that the winner has already been decided, and was in fact decided long ago. If what it says is true, then a certain music mogul could justifiably be charged with fraud.

Nobody accused anybody .. it was just an airing of words, which is quite different to the lengthily acquisition. A also said that I didn't believe it.

And he won; odd but it explains why I was first choice as a Reality Judge (Google Nigel Lythgoe Jonathan King) and Simon was only a poor second choice!

Judging by Syco's response as well as the kid's sworn statement that he has never met Simon, yet another example of how the traditional media would have had this story blocked by an injunction but the Internet is beyond the law.
