hi JK, just had a look at your impressive track record of 'hits'. I certainly would like to learn a thing or two from you. What i would like to know and im sure many tipsheet regulars will too are the following:

1. How the bloody hell did you manage to do all this ?

2. Why on earth hasn't anyone inducted you in the rock and roll hall of fame ?

3. Also what would you do today ?

4. Were you 100% independent or did you release them through the majors ?

5. Album or singles ? from some who will be releasing under different project names or aliases ?

6. Digital or physical ? What would JK do ?

If you can answere these i will be grateful.

Well...
I take a very powerful drug. It's not called Cocaine or Heroin or even Alcohol or Nicotine and never has been. It's called "LoveOfMusic" and it's VERY addictive and extremely potent.
My hits were through a variety of areas - my own labels, majors, minors, indies, even at one point flexi discs distributed for free, sold at 10p on counters and becoming a HIT on Petrol Records (Lick A Smurp For Xmas- All Fall Down - VERY sick and, I have to say, quite funny).
That's my other drug; IMAGINATION.
What am I doing now?
Still having hits or influencing hits or helping hits or giving ideas to those needing hits... TWO Number Ones in 2005 and at least 6 future ones this year.
As you can see - I was into the NEW TECHNOLOGY far before most others.
And still am.

40 million records is quite an impressive achievement for anyone. Its a shame no one seems to mention that fact. Hats off to you JK and im waiting for the book.
