Don't forget jk will be on the 1976 re-run of totp on bbc4 tonight 27/07 at 7.30pm, I can't wait. He will be performing as "100 ton and a feather" with "It only takes a minute". This act is mentioned on the programme guide so it can't be edited out (you would assume). Its probably the first appearance by jk on bbc tv since the imprisonment, not including interviews about the case and related subjects, just jk doing what he does best, music.

Well the early version is usually edited anyway, it's the late night unedited version that's
the one to watch...if anything was going to get the edit treatment this week this was a dead cert.

Yes I was gutted, however the show is shown again in a full 40 minute programme on saturday night/sunday morning at 1am.

And yes the supposedly unedited repeat has left the song out too.

Just posted a comment on that vid - i'm brk754 - really annoying that they would rewrite musical history just out of fear of complaints. You were on with a Tavares song same week as them! That would be worth playing for that reason alone. I wonder - are you the real reason they won't show the early seventies editions?

It is typical BBC. They do fear complaints I heard if they get 15 complaints then they have to make public apology or something. I say show JK performances on TOTP and I doubt there be many complaints at all.
JK has been silent since his release released a book, 2 movies and a several CD's.

I wonder what complaints will say ? It just be the usaul shit like how can you show a performance of this man blah, blah, blah.

So I say so show the footage and see if you get complaints if they can show Bill Wyman or Elvis Presley why not JK ?

I don't think there should be any complaints either, but the case with Elvis and Bill Wyman are different. They weren't convicted (rightly or wrongly) of sex offences.
