Her treatment of Roachford's Cuddly Toy is fantastic and deserves to be a big hit.

Every time I've seen her interviewed she comes across as a genuinely nice person with little pretence.

Yes; on Liza Tarbuck sitting in for Mayo on R2 yesterday (and very good incidentally) Beverley seemed totally down to earth and grounded.

Shame about that voice. Shouting is not singing in my book, Beverley. She tries too hard - poor vocal control and way too shrill.

Can I plug Cuddly Toy once more - now on top rotation on Radio Two - I think it's a fantastic version and it must be having problems being on her own small label.
