TOPIC: Reading? Leeds?

No reports from the festivals on "music" boards... which, I suspect, not that music is dead but that music forums are dying because music "fans" don't really care enough to publish more than 140 characters on the topic (bored now).

It seems to be the case, one of the newest forums PopDaily.net is considering closure due to lack of posting.
It seems social networks are starting to kill off message boards, just as e-mail groups such as Yahoo were killed off,
although there a few groups still fairly active there in the minority.
I think there will be a few big forums that will survive, but it is increasingly hard for new boards to get going.
Sad really.

You're right I was at Reading watching Muse and eight people mentioned the Tipsheet but all in "good old days" context (I gather you were an early supporter of Muse). Lots of Tweeting but all rubbish like Muse great having good time. These days fans like music briefly, move on.
