Carrying today a story on the BBC cutting It Only Takes A Minute from the Top of the Pops repeats.
I'm glad they included my quote - if they are erasing sex offenders from history - no more Oscar Wilde, no more Sir John Gielgud... bang go those Steptoe and Son repeats... lucky they haven't yet started erasing murderers or EastEnders would be off limits (though we all know Murder is far less serious than wanking someone off).
Your 100% right about Steptoe & Son JK. it has been voted as one of the best sitcoms of all time and is TV gold. Even though Wilfred Brambell was indeed as sex offender for cottaging people don't know or don't want to know about this, shame he did it to a copper.
BBC what cunts they need to look at your appeal J.K they need to see you were released on parole due to lack of evidence and laws kept on changing for homo's.
Yes I'm not sure about "attacker" (or "child" come to that). I've never attacked anyone, child or otherwise, and the judge made a point that any sexual activity was consensual (there was no sexual activity which might explain why several made over 50 return visits - unless they liked being "attacked" of course).

Strictly speaking, didn't Brambell get off because he lied through his teeth? He still got plenty of publicity about the case. Bill Cotton and Tom Sloan hovered in the wings to gauge the studio audience's reaction when the actor made his first appearance after the case, but he was receieved just as before and the show went on.
Pete Townshend got away with it as he went to the police straight away to tell them what he done and admitted using a credit card. He wanted to use the site as research well there is not much research on a porn site is there ? But he is on the sex offenders list and quite rightly to.
The entire Operation Ore saga stinks of police laziness and corruption - many people whose credit cards were stolen were prosecuted as were numerous people who bought normal porn.
