Fantastic first day sales for the new One Direction single. And I gather the pre-sales of the album are rather good. I, (and I believe JK) had One Direction tipped for winning X-Factor last year. They came third, beaten by Rebecca Fergusson and Matt Cardle. This autumn, 1, 2 and 3, in sales terms will be in reverse order. One Direction will have the biggest seller, (out of the three), Rebecca 2nd and Matt a lowly third.
