Don’t worry, ITK, they will now extend their “Farewell Tour” well into next year, take a year off to fulfil solo projects, which will all fail, and then reform again. A sad reflection on Charts and Hype Robbie - I remember when I had tiny little hits like Lazybones (around No22? in 1971) which sold over 200,000 copies and are remembered to this day. But you're right - Flying Without Wings is the only Westlife hit I know - even though others won our Record of the Year Award, I can't remember them.

It probably sold more to get to no.22, then most of Westlife's hits sold to get to no. 1.

Absolutely true - in 1976 my It Only Takes A Minute (in the news this week!) sold 450,000 vinyl singles to get to No9; 15 years later Take That, on CD single, vinyl, cassette and other formats, sold about 80,000 to reach the same chart place!
