TOPIC: Strictly vs X Factor

Strictly vs X Factor 13 Years, 8 Months ago
I'm not a fan of ballroom dancing but Strictly is good TV and I'm loving it. I am a fan of new acts and music but I'm not enjoying X Factor; indeed; it's BBC all the way Saturday night for me.

Yes, I have to agree. Strictly is entertaining and much less cynical than x-factor. The emotion in strictly is genuine, no dramatic music is required or drum rolls, or no heartache stories of terminally ill relatives.

I'm interested in seeing all the dancers in strictly this year. I watch it on freesat+ and don't fast forward through any of them. I'm straight and not that old so I'm not your stereotype ballroom dancing fan.

I've watched every episode of X-Factor since it began but I can't watch this series. IMO the judges put through a bunch of talent-less dickheads which they obviously considered good for TV.

They might be getting the headlines but they make for cringe-worthy watching and listening.

BTW judges we all know that, “You’re my guilty pleasure” translates to, “Your embarrassingly hopeless but being too honest on TV may harm my own reputation”.
