I just heard that Ronan Parke's new album is in the Top 10 after it's first day of sales. Not bad. It will be interesting to see if it gets higher or has already hit it's peak.
I like Ronan. It's a shame he has so many haters, but I guess it goes with the territory.

Ronan's Youtube channel (for example) is packed with comments from his "haters", but he copes with them admirably. Territory - pop world, teen culture, fame, jealous peers, etc .. etc ..
Not really much to be confused about.
The haters are probably the majority of online commentators; odd that - I think most people either don't express opinions or tend to be negative whereas the most valuable comments are usually positive.
When I wrote a weekly Sun page, eight out of ten columns were positive yet the readers much preferred the critical ones. I was able to praise and boost otherwise ignored obscurities like Adamski and Seal's Killer because my knocking pages provoked so much reaction and lifted the circulation and the Editor's appreciation.
After starting the week around No.10, it seems that Ronan was only at No.22 when the album chart was published on Sunday. Interesting he is not in the iTunes album chart - at least not in the top 200.

That was the song which got Ronan noticed by the masses.
he's a cute kid and a nice singer and has an adorable sort of look about him that melts hearts but they'll have to butch him up a bit as he gets a bit older.
Sadly, I really think he's a flash in the pan and I don't think the voice will last. Hopefully he'll make a lot of dosh so he'll be OK but the world is littered with ex-child stars.
