I believe this man is 100% innocent without a doubt. They are doing a blame game Micheal Jackson was always stressed with work, allegations, had to 50 gig concert in one venue and was ill and feeble. My verdict misadventure.
I don't think he's 100% innocent at all. He's just no more guilty than all of the other 'hired helps' among the medical profession who happily endanger celebrities' lives in return for a succession of fat pay cheques. He's the one who got caught. Does that mean he deserves any sympathy? I don't think so. I just think the rest of these mercenaries should be driven out of business before they cause any more damage. As for the media, yes, of course, it's another example of going for the line of least resistance, but I'd be more worried if such gross negligence was treated as inconsequential. The man's a disgrace.
I think I agree with Pru on this. Tho none of us can know for sure as we weren't there, this does seem like a classic case of a celebrity enabler. As you say: 'the one who got caught'.
The only reason he's been convicted is because it was Michael Jackson...had it been anyone else I very much doubt it would have got to court. How many negligent doctors here for example get a prison sentence? You can sue the NHS if your partner ends up without a head whilst getting a boil lanced, but only if you've got the money to do so.
Please tell the Jackson family, the fans, the media...nothing is gonna bring him back.

hmmm, FC I feel this is more than negligence; this is about supplying a drug meant only for use by specialists in hospitals in controlled situations in a very unusual situation- on Jackson in his home. No one can access those drugs in that situation without an enabler.
Well put FC but who knows what else Micheal Jackson put in his system you hear patients taking their own medication in care on top what Docs give them.
The Judge stated in some way that he is making an example of this doctor or sending a warning for all celebs who "Doctor shop" to get whatever they want. Any licensed MD who does this is going to be held accountable.
They said Murray was a caring physician that just got in over his head, for 150 Grand a month.
He's guilty of stupidity for giving anesthesia in a residential home without proper monitoring.
Word is, with the overcrowding in California prisons, he may get house arrest at sentencing as a non-violent felon.
Saw Attorney Geregos on CNN commenting, and couldn't get the image out of my head of Michael dancing on top of the van in his pajamas in front of the courthouse that day and Geregos trying to pull him down, as every media outlet in the world was getting footage. Talk about not helping your lawyer!
Unfortunate case all around. Does anyone honestly believe that Jackson could have pulled off 50 nights at the O2? Honestly? It was always going to end badly.
According to the news, Conrad was never paid as contract not signed before the death. Not sure one can cite any notion of financial gain in such a case.

A genuinely 'caring' physician does not prescribe the drugs he prescribed.
Greed and the attractive association with celebrity comes into it. Before him there was Dr Max Jacobson who used to give JFK dangerously strong jabs for his back and Dr Ralph Greenson who was closely involved with adminstering Marilyn Monroe's sleeping pills amongst other things. Maybe there is also controlling aspect to it?
I think if Jacko didn't get his propofol from Conrad Murray, then he would have got it from someone else. I believe that Michael Jackson demanded this drug and Murray wrongly supplied it to him. If he didn't supply it then jackson would have gone elsewhere, and the end result would still have been the same. I don't think it should have come to court.
as a person with a similar sleep problem I sympathise with the late Jackson and know that you will almost pay any price for a good night's kip.
Jackson was slowly killing himself with his drug addiction but to blame the doctor..the last one in a long chain of those who allowed Jackson's lifestyle to continue which includes all those family members who sat by (except his kids) is pretty useless.
Doctors routinely make small mistakes in hospitals around the world and people die. very few end up in court.
What about those who lined up to falsely accuse him of sex offenses and the frightful prosecutors who went all out to convict Jackson on phoney charges?...they all deliriously faced the media and salivated at the opportunity to lock up Jackson.
Michael is just another victim of the celebrity game and in particular US law where the accused has their life totally shredded before they even make it to court.
