An excuse for ghastly radio and TV - Radio Two was dreadful all day today "give us money; here's a dedication; awful record". Children are in bloody Need of great radio and terrific TV - not crap disguised as charitable activity. Leave charity to the experts - Oxfam; Save the Children - and do what you're meant to be doing; provide good entertainment, which Sophie from Dagenham donates £5 and wants Phil Collins is not.
