One Direction Chart disaster 13 Years, 8 Months ago
The dim music executives really have lost the plot, haven't they? One Direction goes from 3 to 16 on the Singles chart and can't even manage a No1 album (it's No2 to Rihanna).
Poor old Simon - one great TV idea (become Mr Nasty - ever been done before?) and still can't get music right.

These days, with the potential and popularity of the band and the low level of sales, no, it's not. And I bet it's not good enough for Doug Morris either.

A case of the fact that they went with the wrong song for the second single, and didn't get it set up right. But that will be costly, as it is NOW that they need to be high up with plenty of airplay with a single in order to drive sales of the album. They have now missed a lot of pre-Christmas sales. A good third single may give them recovery in the post-Christmas market. Let's hope so.

I can't believe this is the "ballad" I was told about - for a start it's not a ballad and for a second it's so similar to the BBoys that Max and Andreas could sue (unless, of course, they have written/produced it - wouldn't be surprised; lazy A&R - see other thread).
