Serious plug time; help us get the Xmas No1 13 Years, 6 Months ago
Remember our Sons of Admirals project?
We dented the charts and got a lot of interest.
Now Alex and Charlie (apart from anything else, they have the great taste to be the biggest Me Me Me fans of all time - indeed, Charlie was my original Johnny Bambino and Tommy was Jay Fratello) have made a great track and superb video and we're pointing it at the charts to become the surprise Xmas Day No1.
Check it out and please, if you like it, support it.

I've heard worse, but it just sounds like a 1981 Depeche Mode b-side or something from new musik (living by numbers) and the video looks like a 6th form art project. As an amateur production by youngsters I would say that its very good, but as a competitor for a top 30 hit, let alone number 1, I would say it has very little chance.
The difference between people clicking on a link and saying that they like it and actually paying money for it is massive.

It's naff enough to be No1 but I think it's too easy to copy the audio off Youtube (and other places) so that's the way that most people will get their copy.
I think the song is ok but it's a bit lame. There is better stuff out there IMHO

The video is full of opportunity to add sound FX and had they have done that people would be less likely to want to rip it and more likely to buy it. Shame really 'cause it's a good track, fans of "The Feeling" or "Scouting for Girls" should like it.
A minor criticism of the song, the staccato bit around 02:35 didn't work for me, re-listened a few times as well but it just sounds wrong.
Wish them the best of luck with it though, the video is great fun and they come across as good characters.
