Erm you are doing exactly that. The song is not really that great and in the article you are using
the charity angle to tug our heart strings which is fine as far as I am concerned as I don't care
what song you release as long as you're happy with it screw the world. They either like it or not.
But you make such a song and dance and lambast Bob Geldof et al at any opportunity you have and then
go out and do the same thing, come on man. That's just hypocrisy BUT that's my view. Be consistent.
Also If you expect us to believe that all you did was make a commercial single
and then just "spread the word", then you really must think we are stupid. The question is what tools
did you use to promote it? How was Youtube and Facebook deployed. The meat and veg and not secret
nebulous music industry hogwash which is what you are doing right now.
The savvier ones on this board would boot up the Google machine and find out exactly how you "hyped"
oops promoted this song

But everyone else would like to know. The Nizlopi guys even did a seminar with AIM to explain how
they did it with their song.
By the way to 'spread the word' you would have needed to do something so what was it that you did?
By the way if you want to keep it all a secret that is your right but then again that is dinosaur
music industry tactics and in the digital age you can easily be found out.
