Chocolate Biscuit 13 Years, 5 Months ago
I was in the shop looking at chocolate biscuits but it's the same anymore aisle who remembers Taxi or 54321 ?

As my dad is a huge fan of Manfred Mann he used to bring home packets home every night for me. And told me the story of Manfred Mann how the song inspired the name 54321. He even bought a Manfred Mann tape to play for 54321 for me which I loved, does anyone remember them and also Taxi, Blue Ribband and Trio.

I want to be age 6 again with my 54321,Blue Ribband or Taxi with doorstep ham sandwich and glass of R Whites lemonade.

Rip 54321 gone but not forgotten you were the top of my list.

To be honest, I can't get myself worked up enough to be sad at the demise of pretty mediocre biscuits. And what we call chocolate would not be worthy of that name in most other countries.

When I lived in Paris years ago there was a high class chocolatier round the corner (this was a very high class part of Paris) and occasionally my colleague Sandra and I would pop over there on a Friday afternoon and spend a few francs on a tiny box of 5 or 6 chocloates. They were simply orgasmic to the tongue.

To think of comparing Dairy Milk, Wagon Wheels or even the excellent Thorntons to the stuff I tasted in Paris is simply misguided.

But you don't know what you haven't tasted.......

I now what you mean David my had a rich boss who went to Paris and Brussels twice 2-3 times a month just get his chocolates from expensive chocolatier's and used to give my mum stacks of them. And their orgasmic as you put it elegantly.
