Orson; when I returned to the real (internet) world, I was curious about the music I'd missed... 19 Years, 2 Months ago
so I logged onto The Velvet Rope (American equivalent to The Tip Sheet but it was there first) and found a thread from about 6 months earlier by Brett Meisner raving about Orson.
So I checked them out and thought No Tomorrow was a hit.
I posted them up here and a thread started saying they had been around for years in LA and if they were any good they would have been signed. We then got into an "ageism in music" debate.
Joe Taylor picked up on them through this and loved No Tomorrow, making it a Record of the Day on that site.
By then industry interest had been lit and they ended up getting very good deals with Mercury and Universal Publishing.
And they owe it all to The Tip Sheet!
