Brits - Live as they happen 13 Years, 4 Months ago
with spy Tipster on the floor (next to Boy George)...

the red carpet show on ITV2 - I really like Emili Sande's track Next To Me.

Who on earth (and why) is Keith Lemon?

Don't you just love "The Brits may contain flashing lights"? They don't even know it's ironic. Where is Alanis when you need her?

Health and safety - the humour police are in.
I would have made Coldplay sing their only real hit - Livin' the Vida Loca as I like to call it. Alanis??

Even their last hit (beaten to No4 by Alex Day on Christmas Day) though a bit repetitive would have been better.

A better Whitney tribute would have been the clip I controversially used in 1991 as she sang The Star Spangled Banner.

Florence seems to have been around longer than her Nightingale namesake but she was bloody good I must say. Bring back older women. I love Susan Black!

Ooops - the Coca Cola advert looked better than the show (and I Hate Coca Cola).

Hate to admit it but I've not heard any of the Best International Males more than once - but Bruno Mars (winner) is my favourite artiste of the last 5 years.

I like Ed Sheeran a lot though he does sound more Atlanta Georgia than London.

Isn't there a content/advert ban at ITV? There used to be.

One Direction beat Adele as Best Single? The curse of the fans (she lost out to GaGa on our Record of the Year too). God bless them; we need them; but they sadly lack ears.

Is it just me or is Rihanna rather gorgeous?

Rude record executives talking loudly behind James C when he's making announcements (one wanker even walked past him)... no manners; one reason why I quit.

Noel G - one hook does not a song make. Don't Look Back was brilliant but I never liked much else from Oasis. However I found him and Liam two of the nicest and most polite young men ever.

Best BM - Sheeran - is there anyone else?
Best BG - group - Coldplay - very good; thought they had retired?

You see; the mistake of doing a TV show in a venue like the O2 is that they think big and spectacular whereas a TV is quite small (even my new huge HD screen).

Adele looked OK (reminds me of Alison Moyet), sounded OK, average song compared with Someone...

God I hate those ghastly voice overs into the breaks - telling you who is coming up...

I've gone slightly numb; I cannot believe how or why people make such ordinary television.

Not one original idea so far.
