I understand Sweden has a number of decent songs in their selection but have not heard any of them yet. They do have a reputation for making bad decisions, so best wait till tomorrow before betting.

It is hard to know what to make of the Russian grannies. It is certainly good fun, so should place highly in the televoting half of the scores at least. It won't help Engelbert, now he's no longer the oldest swinger in Baku.

It's rare I like a Eurovision entry this much so fingers crossed tonight for Loreen and Euphoria (going up...up...up...) and then in May... looks like Stockholm in 2013 then.

Of those I've heard so far the Dutch entry is my favourite. At the start I thought it would be fairly mediocre but by the end I was tapping along with everyone else. But I have to say that she reminds me of Cher somewhat.
