and not great; I loved the early blind auditions with the silly chairs and interesting judges; the duets weekend was disastrous with everyone trying to out sing the rival; now we're seeing that the selected finalists are not very good, the chair trick has died and the judges just tell everyone they are great (they are not - four down so far; I wouldn't sign one of them).

Format weakness; after the initial idea, zilch.

I think amateur over singers should be shot - which would trim the list nicely.
