New PSB album - anyone else disappointed?.... 12 Years, 9 Months ago  
Hello,

After being a Pet Shop Boys fan for well over twenty years i was looking forward to their new album "Elysium". It's had some really good reviews, but i just don't get it.

Andrew I have to disagree. The album is great. Nice and breezy and not cliched at all. In the current climate it stands out.
I like it, more dancey but has a quality to it that has not been mangled by over production and noise.

I must admit "Breathing Space" is stunning. I watched their Electronic Beats show from Berlin and liked how "Hold On" came over. With Andrew Dawson producing i don't know if i expected Snoop Dogg meets Noel Coward, i just expected more.
