TOPIC: Petula Clark
#94848
Petula Clark 12 Years, 3 Months ago
Dad got the new album by Petula Clark and I've just been listening to do. It's not bad at all.

The only thing I knew about her before was Downtown.

The old girl still seems to have IT.

She looked fabulous on TV - nearer 50 than 80. And she sounds fine. Is John Williams my old friend from Chrysalis?

I'm hoping someone who knows about these things, knows he's not the brilliant American movie composer, is aware of British music people, may be able to confirm or deny it.

Given there's no explanatory link, maybe you could clarify what on earth your possible friend has to do with a post about Petula Clark?? Then we might get somewhere!

Google is your friend... and mine too, so I've discovered the answer is YES.
