No one kidnapped her career she has broken free from the major label behemoth and is doing her own thing her way and with success too. For someone who criticises the obsession with charts you really don't half contradict yourself sometimes JK. her last 2 albums sold well earning her a nice fat paycheck.

No, no, he NEVER contradicts himself. He's just so sophisticated a thinker he sometimes gives the erroneous impression he's just a shameless gainsayer.

I've not heard much from her apart from a below par Brits appearance in several years and suspect it's because she dumped her mentor (Steve Greenberg) - don't all artistes? But I am quite prepared to listen to magnificent new music if there is some around. Point us at specific tracks.
