Brian just played Going Back - surely one of the best examples of Dusty at her finest? Anyone else agree that she was the best UK female singer of all time?
I agree that she was as fabulous as can be, but I'm not sure if any singer should be described as "best" ?
Vocally, I suppose there was better, but none I prefer.

YES !
Dusty in Memphis is played in the ITK household regularly.
A lot has to be said for the choice of material. "You Don't Have to Say You Love Me" is the English version of "Io chi non vivo (senza te)" (I who can't live without you) by Pino Donaggio, Vito Pallavicini and Jody Miller.
PS: Not knocking the lady, just saying she had a great selection of songs to work on.
