While I was in hospital I listened to the Eurovision via Radio 2. It's kinda old news now but I thought Hungary had the most original in the competition.

They came 10th.

I watch quite a lot of Hungarian TV and listen to Hungarian radio (I lived there for many years and speak the language). Interestingly this song really divided opinion over there, with some quite heated opinions along the lines of 'what is someone who can't sing and with a stupid, childish song doing representing our country?' While others (me included) really like it.

As you say, PH, it's original and I'd say quirky and for that reason I'd say it was deserving of a Top 10 Place. The original plan was to sing the song half in Hungarian and half in Swedish, but the translation was done too late for them to learn the Swedish lyrics or something.

It's been a big hit in Hungary and has also charted in several other European countries.
