Re:Ian Watkins - Lostprophets singer 11 Years, 6 Months ago
Never like Lostprophets lots of my schoolmates saw them all over the UK, was invited but gently turned it down. I never understood GG took his PC to be fixed when he could of got a new one, maybe he wanted to be caught ?
Re:Ian Watkins - Lostprophets singer 11 Years, 6 Months ago
Seems enough folk/fans/hangers-on/morons/blinkered fools were willing to buy Watkins "yeah i made that pic with photoshop" tale that he told to the likes of Metal Hammer mag.. Here is the interview link. Only a complete tool would believe this. So anyone who did.... best keep their eyes more open in the future. www.metalhammer.co.uk/news/ian-watkins-talks-about-that-photo/
today i saw 2 facebook pages of the filthy slut who offered him her baby. its just unbelievable. and then an old blog of the other worthless rat. Both are named all over Twatter anyway ...seems Peaches Geldof even named em but i doubt she will get jailed.... like they are saying anyone might do if they name them.
Yes i understand the need to protect the identity of the children and its truely heartbreaking to see that young boy on his worthless mothers facebook. So im not linking
nowt but its easy to find.
this case is truely gone far beyond anything.
not to mention the clips of Watkins on TV /youtube one of him uncomfortably laugjing at a glitter joke on the poxy buzzcocks show and another myspace webcast thing where he makes a joke about baby girls. honestly....
buzzcocks
myspace interview.. the comments give the info... its around 6.15 mark.... reply to fan nicknamed BABYGIRL !!
i would like to see him sentenced just to see how long he gets before he kills himself. my guess... 9 years. the two rats will get between 2-5 years each. this is how it always works cos women are "just poor victims" bla bla bla.
Re:Ian Watkins - Lostprophets singer 11 Years, 6 Months ago
Very weird case - the main former girlfriend taking credit (with Tosspot as seen on today's 'This Morning') also worked as an escort with Ian, pretending they were brother and sister. This was still happening in 2012 as far as I can tell via sites like Adultwork.
Re:Ian Watkins - Lostprophets singer 11 Years, 6 Months ago
indeed Joanne Nikita Majic is all over the news with her story. Yet Watkins adultwork profile (which i saw after his arrest) was removed somehow soon after.
So someone other than Watkins was able to delete it with a log-in and password. This could very well have been Joanne but its not certain. twitter.com/Joanne_Nikita follow her on twatter and scroll right back 2 years. i saw some comments and other stuff that she should of maybe removed before
sob sob sobbing on tv and radio etc. Really.... there is more to this whole story. the donkeys who have interviewed her so far neglected to ask her anything worth while.
for one.
Who (if not her) took the explicit pics on Watkins MOTHERLESS profile?... afterall she says on her own twatter page she made a famous male rock musician suck off a
friend.... this can only be Watkins (as the pics show)
Also. Why keep on twatting him on twatter after he has shown you child porn on his PC?
And what the hell was this brother/sister escort shit about?
answers please Miss Majic.
add her to twatter and have a scroll through for yourselves.
Re:Ian Watkins - Lostprophets singer 11 Years, 6 Months ago
Something about this seemed very fishy when he was arrested last year. Now, I'm not a fan - that genre of music does nothing for me in general - and I know very little about him as a person/pop star.. but I know a couple of who are (they are young, but unfashionably wise) and they see a bigger picture too.
There are a few things I find very odd about this unbelievable incident:
1) First and Foremost: this Joanne woman. The girls I mention above who were Lostprophets fans said last year about a 'crazy woman' who was 'hellbent on casusing trouble'. Now we find she's been adopted by Tosspot as his "Brave Victim Of The Month", and not only is she sobbing her tattooed & foul-mouthed heart out on Daytime ITV, he using her to take aim at South Wales Police. Like the harlot who blogged her Yewtree statement and then named the Le Vell accuser, she appears to be above the law for some reason, and her Twatter posts of 2011/2012 are there in black & white. Surely not "another tip of another iceberg"?
2) The Lostprophets may not mean much to anyone over about 30, but they are a well-established (10 years+) million selling act. Even if you think they're rubbish, they are a big deal. And their songs? Google the titles - yes, really! Yet - all things considered - this hardly warrants a mention. Arresting an old DJ is news for days/weeks.
3) Not only were they popular, Watkins himself was very much a 'face' in those T4/R1/'yoof'/emo/Nathan Barley/Never Mind The Arseholes circles. He was dating/f**king Fearne Cotton (TOTP, R1, Celebrity Juice) and Alexa Chung (T4/E4) not so long ago. No big deal, by all accounts.
4) The allegations seemed shocking and vile - so shocking as to be 'undiscussable'. Yet again, a 'plea bargain' raises its ugly head, and a Not Guilty for the most serious charge accepted without a blink. His 'extreme porn' (1 count was it? Wow, big time) "involved animals" - now I'm old enough to remember shops on Greek Islands being full of graphic bestiality videos. Should we go after them too? "Conspiracy to rape" - what's a conspiracy to rape? Why not just rape when we're talking an infant? Oh, must be it didn't happen. So we're talking about crimes that incurred immediate imprisonment, very little discussion and the most serious charge was... bogus was it? Why accept Not Guilty like that?
5) Throwing the book at someone for... virtual crime, it would appear. Now Watkins may be in his mid-30's, but his army of fans were very of the 'internet/mobile phone' generation. I feel I'm qualified to summarise the majority of that age-group, having worked with them recently:
i) Getting 'wrecked' is not only very big and very clever, but seemingly their main aim.
ii) Drugs are de rigueur completely - side effects don't matter. Yes, I know 'drugs' have always been an attraction for the young, but we are talking about the normalisation of speed, cocaine, m-cat etc, and the growing acceptance of horrors such as PCP, Crystal Meth and Crack.
iii) getting out of your mind on one or more of the above is no longer seen as 'bad' - and outrageous things done whilst under the influence all a big joke. The moral compass? Dunno where that is, mate...
iv) all of the above, and more, is photographed and put online. Tales of debauchery is also published online for the amusement of others. So people are making their every misdemeanour a public matter, and a matter of record
Now I'm not looking to make excuses for Watkins, who is almost certainly a prick. But all I have said and more should be being discussed, it is not. The 'facts' seems to matter not one iota. A man is a star one minute with 5 strong-selling albums behind him and big name celebrity girlfriends, the next he is prison seemingly for life, the band no more, everyone silent. Yet we know very little other than what has been reported (or not reported).
On those grounds, as the Puritans gain strength, people get more infantilised and morally out-to-sea and everything we do is digitised for posterity - who else will fall?
Re:Ian Watkins - Lostprophets singer 11 Years, 6 Months ago
Thank you for your comments praising this Forum for having less censorship than others but sadly the rest of your post did cross our boundaries. Less graphic, less personal about the case and less detail please.
Re:Ian Watkins - Lostprophets singer 11 Years, 6 Months ago
understood.
yes the details of this case really are TOO MUCH.
But one thing needs to be clear. This case is not part of any BBC conspiracy or celebrity satanic cult or other rubbish.
I see far too much "degrees of seperation" trying to connect everyone to everyone else and thus the big picture is totally distorted.
The fact is Watkins was a predator FIRST ...and rock star second. Had he never been a z-lister he would of still had the same urges. His celebrity status
only helped him achieve it due to vunerable youngsters willing to do anything to please their hero. This is really a phenomena that does need more attention because
it is so far into the bizarre that its hard to comprehend.
This case it truely in a hell of its own.
by the way maybe remove my post about this thread being buried. it was a mistake.
Re:Ian Watkins - Lostprophets singer 11 Years, 6 Months ago
Chris Retro poses interesting questions and no subject should be taboo or should the sensational reporting and the involvement of ghastly MWT types prevent sensible discussion......and I do believe there is a sort of unspoken campaign that anyone who dares question reports will be either labelled or shouted down.
Conspiracy nuts like Icke (who I've now heard deliberately fans the most absurd conspiracies purposefully- a dangerous and vicious man wrapped in a nice persona) or the bizzare aggrifan have seized upon this and are weaving Jimmy Savile, Welsh boys homes, the recent bank manager (rent boys), Cyril Smith and so on into a giant web of 'pedo ring' and so on.
It works...gradually this language has been seeping into the trashier tabloids. Mail / Mirror / Sun and so on and the generally saner ones do pick up elements of it.
I recall speaking to US friend who was a CIA officer 30 years ago and I mentioned conspiracies...his reply was (words to this effect)..."government and big business who runs it is full of real conspiracies but you'll never know what they are and the mad ones that get all the attention help diverts attention"
###and note : as with Hall , a guilty plea means less jail time and the evidence is never presented in court.
Plea bargaining ( a perversion of justice) has now entered UK law ( and Australia) with a vengeance...in the USA plea bargaining now means charges are piled upon the arrested and eventually reduced to just one for a guilty plea.
And in that manner the actor who played Pee Wee Herman plead guilty to a "child porn" charge (with no jail time) for a noted erotica collection of photos purchased at auction and which he still owns. Either cop the plea or be bankrupted and face a possible 30 years jail.

I cannot speak for any other poster but:
1) The only relevance to Yewtree or anybody else I was looking to make hinges on the matter of press coverage, and the degrees of. Which does warrant discussion, as per my post above.
2) "Predator" is a mis-used word (an animal that kills for food) - but nevertheless, whatever Watkins is or was, I would rather make my own mind up about with facts, evidence etc - even if they are shocking, vile, distasteful. It's this blanket condemnation that needs examining and challenging - else we all lose our 'moral compass' (see above). This is also a clear case of the media, and people like Mark John-Thomas, 'reaping what they sow' in that they no longer have any credibility due to their own history of misinformation.
3) It is interesting to compare the media attitudes - when condemning alleged 'historic' misdeeds of old or dead men they make a lot of noise, yet something involving (if yew pardon the expression) "their own" in much more recent times and does appear to be much more serious/twisted than the rubbish historic tales made by middle-aged women, is by and large met with a suspicious quiet. I'm not suggesting that Watkins' was/is part of a 'media conspiracy' (or whatever), but 'chickens coming home to roost' is a phrase that springs to mind in terms of the general picture.

Glad to see Tosspot visits here. He's linked to the online interview with Watkins on Twitter that has not really been mentioned anywhere else. Let's all *wave* hello

Re:Ian Watkins - Lostprophets singer 11 Years, 5 Months ago
How's about he tweets this video, and pays particular attention to the last 2 minutes or so!
His statements last night linking Jimmy Savile and Ian Watkins as one & thesame and denoucning anybody who doesn't agree they are both the most evil men to ever walk the earth displays more than ever what a scaremongering imbecile Mr John-Thomas is. JS, as we know, was never convicted of anything and never can be, whereas the Lostpophet has now pleaded guilty to some very strange, but highly distasteful, crimes. Questioning anything about the case obviously means you approve of any such abuse. Of course. Why didn't I think of that?
The above "It Could Be Youtree" video ends with the warning 'if you have any illogical sympathy with former children's TV stars, just remember, next time it could be YOU', How close to the truth that statement was! In fact, anybody who looks further into his "investigations" are in fact also paedophiles.
Thanks for clarifying that, you obsessive zealous arsehole!
Re:Ian Watkins - Lostprophets singer 11 Years, 5 Months ago
yes Mr John-Thomas is an evil man who perpetuates the notion : anyone who dares question the narrative is to be condemned as a fellow traveller.
He did that to Anna Raccoon- utterly despicable.
and how many children has he saved ?..none.
Asia is full of John-Thomas'..and not one, not one single one of them dares question or act upon the real sexual slavery of women and children which 99% of is run by, and involves locals.
I will be controversial here- I could be wrong but from what I read of this highly distasteful case, it appears to have involved planning to carry out acts and 'touching' type offences which would mean any baby involved will suffer no ill effects as the great thing about the human child until a certain age : it survives with no memory of the early years.
Unless of course a myriad of "child protection experts" and charities line up to tell them "their life has been ruined".
## also a good reason that Geldorf airhead should be prosecuted.

Save prison arts
From Adam Mac - HMP Wakefield
The many effects of the new IEP policy have been widely published in Inside Time, including articles about how it will affect prisoners maintaining their innocence, how it will change what is expected of prisoners, and how it will result in prisoners losing certain items of property. However, there has been little said about how the new policy affects prison arts. The popularity of the Koestler Awards demonstrates how much talent there is in prisons, and how varied that talent is. Whether you paint or draw, play the guitar or build matchstick models, write poetry or prose, fiction or non-fiction, self expression is extremely important to prisoners. It offers us a chance to break free of the brick walls and metal doors and fill our time with something productive. But the introduction of the new IEP policy threatens all that. The Ministry of Justice have already confirmed that they intend to take away all electric guitars and any acoustic guitars which have metal strings; Prisoners up and down the country are frequently blocked or delayed in ordering paints or hobby items such as veneer; and many prisoners have even reported that their own writing has been removed from their possession by security without any reason being given at all. It seems like the arts in prison are under attack and, unless we can convince the Ministry of Justice to give prison arts the respect and importance they deserve, we may end up losing them altogether. I have been blogging atadammac.co.uk since December and, last month, I put out a post asking my readers to help campaign against this. I received a lot of encouragement as a result and I'm pleased to say that we have now set up an online petition, asking the Ministry of Justice to recognise the value of prison arts, to ensure that arts materials and equipment are available to all prisoners, and to provide personal development and arts courses across the prison estate. However, most prisoners will be unable to access the website in order to sign this. Instead we are reliant on those on the other side of the wall. Our friends. Our family. If you know anyone outside who can spare just two minutes of their time to help save prison arts, get them on the website. It's very easy and, together, we can make a real difference. The web address for the petition is: you.38degrees.org.uk/petitions/save-prison-arts or you can access it via my blog at adammac.co.uk

Common Sense Alert!

Prison Service rules state that if a prisoner wants to change their appearance they must first submit an application for permission so that an updated photo can be taken.
There’s one guy on my wing who keeps a beard but occasionally trims it back. Recently he was trimming it when he accidentally went too far and took out a chunk of hair. Obviously he wasn’t keen on walking around with a facial bald patch so he trimmed it right down to the stubble all over so that it could grow back evenly again.
The following morning he was threatened with being placed on report and faced a loss of privileges on the grounds that he hadn’t put an application in to cut off his beard. He told the officer that he couldn’t have put an app’ in because he didn’t know it was going to happen, but the answer he got was simply bizarre. He was told that he should have kept the beard with a bald patch on his cheek and waited to shave it off until his written application could be sent to the security department for consideration.
