We do still have the death penalty for traitors, don't we?

Yes we do.

Can you imagine Momentum being 'triggered' when their culture leader might go to trail or be sacked as leader?

A guy who retired 14 years ago making broad statements - whilst the current authorities have no interest!

Sir Richard Dearlove was regarded as the most incompetent head of MI6 in his day by other agents and security services & clearly he demonstrates why here.

If anyone knows the truth of allegations about Corbyn it would have to be him duhhh.

But as a known Tory supporter (one of the reasons agents regarded him with great suspicion was he was renowned for putting partisan loyalty ahead of security) he's obviously stirring the pot but it's bound for failure and he is actually doing the intelligence services huge damage by doing so.

That of course won't resonate with small town Tories like ITK (Ivan) who is on a mission as a wrecking ball for democracy.

Why else would this spy want to not have a strong Opposition- that's what keeps the government in check.

The phony "Corbyn is a spy" rubbish could be straight out of the Putin Playbook with the right-wing media acting as "useful idiots" for Vlad.

# no there is no longer the death penalty for treason but if only..the notion of the editors and hacks on the Mail, Telegraph and most especially The Sun walking up the gallows steps would be a sight to behold.

Do you mean trial?

Is it hanging, or firing squad for traitors?

(Sadly we don't do hanging, drawing and quartering anymore)

Well hangings were a family day out for peasants.

I'm favour of the death penalty, dead offenders not repeat offenders. It has to be regulated properly and make sure they got the right person.

For 20 years now, the maximum sentence for treason is life imprisonment.

But Mr King might have been hung. And other innocent people.
What then?
