They can't have much in their archives, what are you on? They have massive archives, did you see the Old Grey Whistle Test on friday. They have 60 years of history that sky or others can't compete with.
I know they have lots in the archives but due to costs and repeats fees, they can trust show much. No I didn't watch OGWT the other night because I own all the DVDs.
There are lots of good sitcoms in the archives but due to political correctness they will never air them again.
Black and White Minstrels Show would have a steady sale if it was released on home media. UK Gold or whatever it is these days butch up Only Fools &Horses so it does not offend anyone.

You really do resent anything the BBC puts out. I can imagine you, dusting your On the Buses box set, grumbling about David Attenborough, Kenneth Clarke and Alistair Cooke.
