Yes they 'promote good' - selectively.
Giving standard lifestyle advice, praising heroic deeds/works, honouring the brave etc.
But take Prince Charles, for example - worth hundreds of millions.
Rarely does he (or his family) put his hand in his pocket - to help the destitute.
Such direct intervention is for government, taxpayers, charities etc.
Although admittedly - he is more than willing to pin medals on deserving folk.
