I've had loads of brilliant, supportive letters, particularly after my CHANGE OF DATES piece. People seem amazed that such a thing can happen - and my mailbag has even included outraged M.P's! It's hard enough that a judge can change dates on claims by 2 and a half years but to do so without allowing further defense against the LATER time frame is a clear breach of human rights - officially or otherwise. I have to tell you - this is standard, common practice. I think it's disgraceful. It's hard enough proving you DIDN'T do something 32 years ago. It's even harder when the time frame is as large as a year in each case ("Well, it's so hard to remember exact details" they bleat). But it's IMPOSSIBLE when, having proved something didn't take place when claimed, the dates are radically altered and the victim is not allowed to put forward further proof. Do please feel free to write me, my address is J.King FF 8782 HMP Elmley, Sheerness, Kent ME12 4AY. JK.
