Vernon God Little is sensational and a worthy winner, far better than last year's Life Of Pi, which takes ages to get going. I thought Zoe Heller's Notes on A Scandal was also fabulous, ditto Brick Lane. The Good Doctor was great but too Graham Greene. Still to read the last two finalists. But do read DBC PIERRE and HELLER an ALI - all tremendous modern novels. "What I propose to show you during the course of this trial...is the breadth of human suggestibility" VERNON GOD LITTLE, page 207 by DBC PIERRE.
