Record Of The Year

I thought the shows were great TV and I bet the ratings were terrific. Sad that the fan base vote kicked in. Beyonce had the Record Of The Year for me, though Daniel Bedingfield's brilliant performance deserved to win. Top Of The Pops used to succeed because it featured the popular songs each week. Record Of The Year succeeds because it uses the popular songs of each year. My only criticism - why wasn't Will Young's excellent current single included in the 10 finalists, it's a hit in 2003, not 2004.
