Question; who came up with the name THE BRITS? - I did in l987 when I
hosted and wrote the show. It was previously called THE BRITISH ROCK AND
POP AWARDS (Not catchy!) I decided on the acronym BRITS for British Record
Industry Trusts Show.
Question; when were sales of singles strongest in the UK? Answer - in the
late 90's, when The Tip Sheet was going strong. What's happened to singles
sales since JK was jailed? They've collapsed.
Question; when did the UK last win Eurovision? Answer - l997, when JK was
running the UK end and Katrina got the biggest vote EVER with Love Shine A
light. What's happened since JK was jailed? NUL POINTS!
