BECKHAM, SVEN and ME...
Thank you Niqel Farndale in the Sunday Telegraph for connecting David Beckham,
Sven and me, even if rather spuriously. All I need to say is... if I was Sven/
I'd have decided that this country is SOOO nasty that I wouldn't want to be
any part of it, especially when Scandinavians are so basically decent. Actually,
that's wrong. It's only a tiny minority obsessed by sex and scandal. But that
small element of Great Britain/ rather like football hooligans, gives us all
a bad name.
