On a recent road to Damascus it dawned on me that Jesus DID fall for Satan's offer. "I'll give you the world...", said the evil one and, like Sir Bob selling his soul, Jesus went for it. In exchange for compassion and love and kindness and tolerance, he agreed to die on the cross. Much more Lucifer than God, spotting the inevitable consequences. Crusades.
