The Kurse of King as the News of the World gets sued... |

Some months ago the NOTW ran a story headlined PERVERT IN THE PARK using a crudely edited photo of me sitting in a deck chair next to the Serpentine during a documentary filming session. The edited version replaced the river with a wooded area full of families and said I was "ogling" boys.
The PCC - Press Complaints Commission - eventually refused to support the NOTW claims of innocence in a most unusual finding. You can see the actual venue in our PHOTOS section.
The Picture Editor of the paper has subsequently left the NOTW.
But not before a similarly doctored photo of a famous footballer appeared, which is now the subject of a legal battle. If the footballer wants me to give evidence about the behaviour of the paper, I'm happy to do so.
Chickens, as they say, are coming home to roost!
