Hi, Many thanks for all the support recently - I've had dozens of letters from people who have been prompted to express relief that there is a ray of hope in the extraordinary area of FALSE ALLEGATIONS. The announcement last week by the crucial CRIMINAL CASES REVIEW COMMISSION (CCRC) that "there may well be serious miscarriages of justice where, with very little corroboration, one person's view has been taken against another's "has given hope to the HUNDREDS of victims. like me. JOHN WAGSTAFF and DAVID BRITTIN had their comments well covered in both THE TIMES and THE INDEPENDENT. Why do grown men and women consciously invent or exaggerate stories of sexual abuse ? A clue lies in another recent story - l67 rapes a day? BOLLOCKS! the motive can be as basic as CASH or as complex as a desire for attention, genuine delusion, drug & alcohol dependence, revenge or just pure malice. The police can compound this - exaggeration guarantees conviction and conviction guarantees compensation. I think FALSE ALLEGATIONS are the worst form of crime in Britain today, and the most destructive to the very fabric of civilization. JK
