Well, I loved it; I thought it was brave and clever of Rowling to go to the other extreme from fantasy.

And I think she is a very good writer, capturing the ticks and contradictions of different kinds of people. She writes about the various stratas of society and I found her long story gripping.

Thoroughly recommended.
